IT 2006-03 Personal Income Tax: Employer Withholding Tables -- Revised Beginning October 1, 2006; Issued August, 2006

This information release is to advise you that the Ohio Department of Taxation (ODT) has released new employer withholding tables for payrolls ending on or after October 1, 2006. The reductions in the rates take into consideration the changes to Ohio individual income tax rates enacted in House Bill 66. The new employee withholding tables are now posted on ODT’s Web site (or obtained by clicking here). The tables include the percentage method for calculating withholding as well as biweekly, weekly, monthly, and semimonthly withholding schedules.
