The Ohio Department of Taxation has compiled a list of frequently asked questions covering many different categories.

What information should municipalities send to the Department if the taxpayer has not yet filed their 2017 return?

Form MNP-TTI has a check box that municipalities should use to indicate that the taxpayer has not yet filed its 2017 (final) return with the municipality. Municipalities should check this box and return the form within 90 days.  Once the taxpayer files its final return, the municipality has 45 days from the filing of the final return, but not later than the first day of the last month of the taxpayer's fiscal year to submit the taxpayer's information to the Department.
