The Ohio Department of Taxation prides itself on excellent and immersive training programs, ensuring all employees—regardless of educational and professional background—will be brought up-to-speed on tax administration within their first year on the job. In our entry-level position, the Tax Examiner Associate, you will receive up to 10 weeks’ training on personal income and business taxes in your first year alone, which will provide a solid foundation for any promotional opportunities in our department.
