Motor Fuel Tax Report for the month of October 2008,

In October 2008, motor fuel tax collections totaled
approximately $159.3 million (after refunds). Total gallons
of fuel taxed were approximately 573.8 million including
137.7 million of special fuels.
Special fuels are diesel, kerosene, and propane.
