Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax
Motor Fuel Tax Report for the month of April 2002,
including April 2001 and Fiscal Year to Date (2002)
In April 2002, motor fuel tax collections totaled
approximately $118.9 million (after refunds). Total gallons
of fuel taxed were approximately 547.6 million including
126.0 million of special fuels. Special fuels are diesel,
kerosene, and propane.
