Motor Fuel Tax Report for the month of January 2003,
including January 2002 and Fiscal Year to Date

In January 2003, motor fuel tax collections totaled
approximately $115.0 million (after refunds). Total gallons
of fuel taxed were approximately 529.6 million including
121.8 million of special fuels. Special fuels are diesel,
kerosene, and propane.
