Motor Fuel Tax Collections and Gallons Taxed Fiscal
Year 1999
As of June 30, 1999, the Ohio Department of Taxation reported
a total of $1,406,743,343 of motor fuel tax collections net
of refunds. Total gallons of fuel taxed amounted to
approximately 6.5 billion that included 1.4 billion of
special fuels. Special fuels consist of diesel, kerosene, and
propane.
