Motor Fuel Tax Report for the month of September2009,

In September 2009, motor fuel tax collections totaled
approximately $149.9 million (after refunds). There were
approximately 539.5 thousand gallons of fuel taxed which
included almost 118.7 thousand gallons of special
fuels. Special fuels are considered diesel, kerosene,
and propane.
