Motor Fuel Tax Report for the month of May 2009,
including May 2008 and Fiscal Year to Date (2009)
In May 2009, motor fuel tax collections totaled approximately
$149.4 million (after refunds). There were approximately
539.9 thousand gallons of fuel taxed which included almost
113.4 thousand gallons of special fuels. Special fuels
are considered diesel, kerosene, and propane.
