Motor Fuel Tax Report for the month of January 2009,
including January 2008 and Fiscal Year to Date

In January 2009, motor fuel tax collections totaled
approximately $136.5 million (after refunds). Total gallons
of fuel taxed were approximately 494.4 million including
113.7 million of special fuels.
Special fuels are diesel, kerosene, and propane.
