Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax

Motor Fuel Tax Report for the month of October 2009, including October 2008 and Fiscal Year to Date (2010)

In October 2009, motor fuel tax collections totaled approximately $150.4 million (after refunds). There were approximately 544.3 thousand gallons of fuel taxed which included almost 125.2 thousand gallons of special fuels.  Special fuels are considered diesel, kerosene, and propane.
