Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax
Motor Fuel Tax Report for the month of August 2011,
including August 2010 and Fiscal Year to Date (2011)
In August 2011, motor fuel tax collections totaled
approximately $159.8 million (after refunds). There were
approximately 580.1 thousand gallons of fuel taxed which
included almost 138.3 thousand gallons of special
fuels. Special fuels are considered diesel, kerosene,
and propane.
