Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax
Motor Fuel Tax Report for the month ofJuly 2010,
including July 2009 and Fiscal Year to Date (2011)
In July 2010, motor fuel tax collections totaled
approximately $159.6 million (after refunds). There were
approximately 574.4 thousand gallons of fuel taxed which
included almost 120.6 thousand gallons of special
fuels. Special fuels are considered diesel, kerosene,
and propane.
