Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax

Motor Fuel Tax Report for the month of May 2011, including May 2010 and Fiscal Year to Date (2011)

In May 2011, motor fuel tax collections totaled approximately $151.8 million (after refunds). There were approximately 547.7 thousand gallons of fuel taxed which included almost 126.2 thousand gallons of special fuels.  Special fuels are considered diesel, kerosene, and propane.
