Motor Fuel Tax Report for the month of January 2004,
including January 2003 and Fiscal Year to Date

In January 2004, motor fuel tax collections totaled
approximately $124.8 million (after refunds). Total gallons
of fuel taxed were approximately 526.5 million including
121.1 million of special fuels. Special fuels are diesel,
kerosene, and propane.
