Frequently Asked Questions

The Ohio Department of Taxation has compiled a list of frequently asked questions covering many different categories.

To view the questions, click on the "Select Category" bar and then click on the category you are interested in.  A list of questions will appear pertaining to that category. Then click on the question you are inquiring about and the answer will appear.

What do I do if I change my e-mail address and still want to receive electronic notification that a notice is available for viewing/printing?

Update your e-mail address in My Profile. Once your e-mail address has been updated in My Profile, you will be required to revalidate your new e-mail address. Once your updated e-mail address has been validated you will continue to receive an electronic notification that a notice is available for viewing/printing.
