Cigarette Pricing Change - January 27, 2003
The Ohio Department of Taxation has been informed that Philip
Morris is lowering their invoice price by $32.50 per 1000
cigarettes on certain brands from February 3, 2003, through
March 30, 2003. They will also be rebating the same amount to
wholesalers based on their February 2, 2003, saleable
inventory. Both actions will result in a lower cost of
cigarettes to the wholesaler and will result in new minimum
wholesale and retail prices.
