Former Cleveland-area legislator Sally Conway Kilbane today was inducted into the Ohio State and Local Tax Hall of Fame at the 21st annual Ohio Tax Conference in Columbus.
New Data: Ohio's State Tax Burden Lower than Most States — March 31, 2010
New statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau show that the burden of state taxes is lower in Ohio than most other states, including all of Ohio’s neighbors.
Inspections of tobacco retailers by enforcement agents from the Ohio Department of Taxation have resulted in charges against four businesses in Jefferson and Columbiana counties.
